There seems to be a strain of the over-thinking virus going around at the moment.

Please post your remedies for over-thinking to help the afflicted.

I am an over-thinker. I have, in the past, set out on here my idea for Over-thinkers Anonymous (OA). However, this last week or so I keep wanting to say to people, stop over-thinking it. I have to some and bitten my tongue with others.

It's not always a helpful trait.

People sometimes accuse me of over-thinking. But I like thinking - it's what my brain is for, so they're just avoiding the issue in my (considered) opinion!

Mmm over thinking, I have been pondering what you might mean by over thinking. Whether its to think about something more than is really needed or whether its more about passing over something to think of what may be the result. Of course, there are those who think in every line of text there is a subtext, another meaning. I recall the book Animal Farm being described as a comment on facism or communism when I thought it was about animals ... Perhaps there is a subtext within this post, .. But then again, I want to avoid overthinking if I can ....
