Mrs P is extremely well spoken, some would say posh.

Neutral Mids accent. Telephone voice is poshish but I am far from that.

Also a little higher tgan appesrances would lead you to believe.

Sits back and waits for Jo Pasquale jokes to flood through.

Derby born & bred, so a Derby accent I suppose

It's quite funny though to actually hear yourself when your voice has been recorded, I always think "Crikey, do I really sound like that"

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It was described as RP last night but I think it has a little of the 'Ackney in there too. As to tone, then somewhere between Munchkin and Oompa Loompa.

Ask them!

That's true but I really meant the posting of a sound file that anyone could hear by just clicking on it.

Not sure really. A slightly posher and less harsh Nanny from Count Duckula? I'd like to think the Cadbury Caramel bunny but that's just wishful thinking. You'd have to ask someone who's heard it really; I find it hard to judge my own voice.

How spooky! I've been chatting to a lady on here about my accent. Undefinable - apparently....it's a mix of Brighton and East Midlands.

Probably an average sounding male voice, bit with a knackered accent. Lived in so many places that i have bits of most of then squeezed into my accent, though the pronunciation of certain words (bath, for instance) does give away my northern roots.

Exactly! I'm struggling to imagine some of the voices and accents described here, though some of those descriptions are quite imaginative.

As many have said, it's hard to judge one's own voice but whenever i hear it on a recording such as an answer phone, i think OMG is that really me?

Open to offers to sample aural delights. I will reply even if only to offer a warbled No thanks.
