Does anyone else find that usually when single guys hide their veris it turns out because it was one from ages ago from another guy in cam? We like to see veris so we can see their standards they and the previous have... or is it just is?

I don't often read people's veries to be honest. I talk to people and get to know them a little before deciding to arrange a meet.

As for the verification being from ages ago - many single men struggle to get meets, as you're probably well aware. So it could be months since they've met anyone. I don't consider cam verifications to be a valid way of verifying someone as genuine, all it says tome is that they have a webcam and know how to turn it on!

Besides, not everyone leaves veris, and they disappear if the writer leaves the site so veris are a small part in judging if someone is genuine.

To me, this is another form of expecting guys to jump through hoops or to do things that aren't expected of anyone else.

I'm sure there must be a few who hide their veris for this reason, maybe they even met a guy/TV and don't want it known as they're pretending to be straight. Lots of other reasons to hide veris though.

I'm not keen on meeting those who don't show their veris tbh. People lie, even photos lie and I've been caught out once or twice. Veris are much more reliable IMO

I don't show mine because I prefer people to get to know me as I am. I've been verified several times, regard my standards as good.

Plus, I've had socials give me some verifications, from other guys and women who I've had no sexual activity with.

It's purely personal preference, it's there as a tool to see if someone is real, and how they choose to use it can show more if they want to really. Not everyone shows all of theirs too, so this will mislead people who want to see their possible 'standards' etc I imagine.

I have a verification I don't show from someone I've never met! I've reported it. There are people who verify all and sundry.

The opinion of a stranger in deciding to meet another stranger is bizarre to me: I meet socially and make my own mind up. I've met some real charmers socially I couldn't get away from fast enough who had glowing verifications!

I know I'm a women, but I always get called fake/timewaster as I never show mine they are a personal thing no one else needs to know who I've meet and when. I think the verification summary is wonderful, it's a good way of showing you have genuinely meet people with out knowing who

In fairness, whilst I don't use the verifications to decide who go meet, I use it to decide who NOT to meet ie "safe sex only" profiles with verification from someone who only does bareback meets.

I like to read the verifications, they are very important to me.... Its how others view that person not just how they perceive themselves... We can and do say anything just to get a meet... I've heard it all before... i am more likely to meet a man with 3 different veri's backing up his claim then someone who isn't showing their veri's

I've been judge on it by people. But apparently because I'm straight I'm in "denial" Even though it was simply a hello.

Just a goes to show how judgmental and small minded some people are. So no matter what we do as single guys, somewhere some one is judging us.

and apart from 1 that actually said "I also do escorting " I can't say I've seen any that are obvious?

And even if they did, they are entitled to play on here as much as anyone else as long as they don't tout or charge for business.

I've been criticised for only showing social veris on my singles profile. I never ask for play veris, although happy to write them for others.

It all seems like a bit of a scoring system for me which is a bit crap when the whole thing's subjective. One person's monster dick could be someone else's toothpick.

Bearing in mind I'm new to the site I personally have not shown my full verification as although it shows me in a good light, I believe that meets are personal and so don't want to reveal such details publicly. Although I see the point about fakes iv noticed there's a lot of timewasters here! Which is frustrating for genuine guys like myself as I have been Accused of being things I'm clearly not

You look at a profile and make a decision based on lots of things whether to enter into communication with the person/people. Then you make a personal judgement whether to meet them.

Then again you get a feel for them when you meet, you can still walk away at this point...

We make lots of decisions based on lots of things whether to meet someone. Don't place too much importance on the profile. Communication and meeting someone are the only way to judge... and you can walk away at any point!
