I think your Dr should review it because its so notorious for causing stomach ulcers that it should be prescribed with a stomach protector or not taken at all,Naproxen is the drug of choice in its place now where I work I wouldn't normally interfere but the last thing you need is a stomach ulcer xx " i will talk to him about it when I go next. I've been on them years for my arthritis, now I'm worried lol

I've been on them years for my arthritis, now I'm worried lol " I was taking Diclofenac for years for Arthritis for years until 4 months ago when my GP changed it to Co-Codamol. This is because Diclofenac has become a "no-no" drug, as it causes other problems incl ulcers and GP's have been told to stop prescribing it. The Co-Codamol works for me. There is also Naproxen which is very good too, but you generally have to take a supplement tablet beforehand to stop stomach upsets (1 a day) like Lansaprozole. I have gone thru Gout myself albeit a few years ago; you have my sympathy and I wish you well in your recovery.
