Rang one once when a lorry nearly forced us off the road... all they did was basically ask for the vehicle details, location of incident and then get the drivers line manager to ring us... and all he did was basically defend the driver, repeating "All our drivers are very professional, this can't have happened, perhaps you are mistaken"... ffs, there were 4 adult witnesses in the fucking car!

Suffice to say it never really went anywhere!

I did - after one pulled out in front of me on the motorway nearly forcing me into the fast lane.

Details taken - no further contact.

I wouldn't bother these days. Having a camera in the car I'd just post a video on YouTube naming and shaming the company and forwarding a copy to both the companies MD and the local police.

I have worked for a company that got a phone call about some ones driving, the guy got a new arse torn out of him in front of all of the work crews.

I did also make a phone call about a van cutting me up and nearly removing the bonnet of my car, the person on the end of the phone was pleasant enough.

Not the one on the sticker but i did contact the head office of the arsehole who almost pushed me into a barrier on the M6 and laughed as he did it as he forced his pick up into the filter lane last minute.

I normally let a bit of twatty driving go with a hand gesture in the right direction, but this cock was just dangerous and could have easily killed someone as i just managed to miss one of the sloped armco barriers with a concrete base at over 60mph. Spoke to the director in charge of the fleet who took some details and immediately took said cretin off driving duties until he'd completed a safe driving course.

Some people forget they have a registration number on their signwritten company vehicle

I wouldn't phone one of them numbers, what I did do was Google the company and got there number and rang them direct, the company owner rang me back and was fuming with his driver and assured me he'd given him a written warning, because it's his reputation he's ruining

I was being tailgated in a 30 mph zone by a van, who was coming up close then backing off and snaking his vehicle behind me, whilst I was doing the limit. Unfortunately after he overtook me on double lines approaching a bend, he didn't have a number for me to ring! If he did, I would have!

I think the drivers should also be able to post their contact or profile details, so I can make contact too. If their driving has been bad but they want to shag, all can be forgiven. Atm all the power is in the hands of the company and the hard working staff should also have a sign. But better than those 'mick' etc ones that are sometimes used in trucks.

He Pulled into a Lay-by to let the Traffic past and 3 cars pulled up behind him and then followed him all the way to the farm.. it was funny at the time..

It could be a camera insurance companies are asking people to have in their cars, you don't have to operate them they just record.

There's also a mobile phone app called Autoguard that turns your phone into a dashcam. You just start it at the start of your journey and it records everything automatically. It even records audio, time, date, speed and GPS coordinates.

I use it all the time....
