Breakfast...actual v want

Argh, popping my forum thread cherry and all I can think is food!

What's your breakfast of choice versus your actual breakfast today?

Mine would be crispy, almost burnt bacon with poached egg on doorstep style toast with beans, if I was being fancy I'd say scrambled eggs with salmon and dill on rye!

Actually I am having seeded ryvita with cheese and a satsuma at the desk

Mine would be 2 slices of thick white toast covered in butter & marmalade.

But instead I'll be having porridge with blueberries & skimmed milk at my desk in about an hour.

Welcome to the forums

I am actually having what I want this morning as its been cooked for me. So its a mushroom and ham omelette with a wee sprinkling of cheese and a very large mug of green tea

Want: continental with lots of pastries and proper Italian latte (jug of hot coffee, jug of hot full fat milk and mix to preferred strength).

Choice: danish bacon, black pudding, cumberland sausages, poached egg, beans and farmhouse bread, washed down with a sweet mug of coffee.

Actual: 30g of bran with semi skimmed milk and 250ml of orange juice diluted 50/50 with water!

My ideal breakfast would be Paul in bed with a variety of fruits and bits we can have fun with.

In reality it will probably be poached eggs on granary toast.. Which isn't a bad alternative!

Having just that lol it's my favourite and I have it whenever I have time to prepare, if not it's belvita on the run
