There are a lot on here who say they are not hardened swingers. Will anyone admit to being a "hardened swinger"? What is one anyway?

The true swinger as it used to be was gto attend parties have fun flirt but no pressure to have sex.Todays' version is a quick social followed by a shag and nothing else no romance no intrigue .sad .Florence

I take it as meaning an experienced swinger which is exactly what I'm looking for.

If someone says they aren't then I see that as a judgemental comment. As if they are somehow more virtuous.

My understanding of the use of hardened by some is that there is an element of pejorative judgement in it. I imagine it is as if their experiences have hardened them in a callous way rather than just being experienced.

I would never use the term. However I have heard it said that long term swinging can jade you and make you cynical.

Good point. It does seem judgemental the way some use it. "We are nice people because we have less than 10 verifications" surely over time everyone builds up experience?

This sums it up for me too. There is definitely a judgemental tone to it though I sometimes think that is not necessarily intended with any malice

For me experience is key and, if that hardens you, so be it.
