Why do people lie?

London

Have never understood why people lie on here. Why not tell the truth. It's a swinging site not a date site. Can not understand revealing all details but forgetting your married or partner? Be honest. Some won't meet if you are but others will.

Give a general idea where your based and what the rules are for contacting peeps off site. Saves every one a lot of time wasted and hurt sometimes.

Rant over but am I the only one that thinks this?

People lie. People lie about all sorts of things.

I prefer the attached to say they are as it means I can make an informed choice. However, I have come to the conclusion that it's the internet and people can tell me anything and with enough conviction that how would I know whether it is truth or lie?

Unfortunately some people lie to get what they want . Or just lie to get out of something they don't want too do . Its just life and you need to accept it and move on

Some people are just plain dumb. They hatch some master plan about bedding a gorgeous babe that involves setting up a couples profile, snatching some hot young pics from a Google search, and sit back rubbing their hands waiting for all that sweeeeet pussy to come their way. It's only when you ask to meet them that they suddenly realise their plan has one small flaw in it i.e. they're a single 60 year old unkempt and unfit bloke with a comb over lol

What's even madder is that some of these nuts actually turn up to the meet lol I mean... what's going through their heads?!?!?

The thought of sweeeet pussy and the belief that you won't say no once you meet them.

"But after talking and maybe meeting the lies would be seen and who wants to have fun with someone who thinks your stupied?"

I was told a monumental lie by someone on here. When he confessed the truth I did feel stupid. It changed how I _iew what I am told here. I choose to believe I am told the truth by the people I agree to meet. If that turns out not to be the case then they know I am displeased. Nothing more.

Ive always felt that if people lie (in whatever scenario),its probably the fact that their life is rather boring and they think a lie makes them appear more interesting.

I think personally this is a dead easy going website and you can just be very open about stuff to people who your talking to, but some people are maybe just insecure, trying to make them selves look good, or maybe other reasons but shit happens

I know someone who tells that many lies they believe them themself... I just know not to believe a word they say anymore

I had a guy that worked for me that told lies all the time he turned the whole workforce against me then he started telling lies about how ill his wife was and in the end they all hated him for all the trouble he caused.

The trouble was he believed himself

gosport

We don't tell lies but usually find out liars.

Why?

Simple.

We too have been called fake because we have a real life and real life issues always happen at inopportune times.

Real life does take precedence over our fun on here.

A few examples:

Profile - will not meet married people. We then get a message from them saying 'I know what my profile says but I will make an exception in your case'

Profile - looking for sexy BBW's. Message 'didn't realise your Mrs was such a bloater, BBW should be size 14/16'

Lies or extensions of the truth???

DUKE

So I'll be economical with the truth from now on.

see i would look at it in another way. At least by you telling the truth, you got to see true colours of all involved . If you had lied and this happen then your whole life could have ended up de funked, (cos wifey liked ya and hubby got the hump) You telling the truth didn't cause the shit! Was a cple, who clearly shouldn't use swinging to sort out their mess of a relationship, with no respect for each other ,that were the loose cannons!
