green text in chat

why is it we find it annoying and distracting ..the colour just hurts the eyes.people obviously use it to stand out in chat but we end up temporarily blocking whoever is typing in green just so we don't have to see it..just us or anyone else have a problem with it?

Brighton - even Hove!

It's environmentally friendly, although I guess a confusing conundrum could happen if they typed 'we love plutonium'.

Whilst I thought the colour wasn't particularly pleasant it didn't give me a headache.

What did you type? If you'd typed 'the blokes back brake block broke' 10 times, then it might have given you a headache.
