A growing movement of proponents for not using shampoo on hair is on the rise. Apparently it results in healthier hair. Im not one of this band but curious if anyone is and what thoughts are. I know a frequent problem on meets would be an unwashed partner generally, and you would want them to smell good. Some have gone years without shampoo now with luscious thick hair. Id hasten to add not thick with dirt, as water is still used and possibly some natural stuff too.

My best friend did it for a couple of years (I believe it's using some sort of soda powder and vinegar).

Her hair was REALLY shiny at some point but she said she never truly felt clean and her skin didn't like it. She has had awful dandruff since and seems to be struggling to contain it but obviously that could just be HER skin type.
