Sony fan here, vaio laptop, sony mp3 walkman, xperia z1 compact phone... all really good quality and love them

Had a pair of Sony "noise cancelling" headphones once. Were less effective than my standard ones and flimsy manufacture. Rrp was around £70 tho I got them for half that; suppose if you buy cheap you get cheap though.

I wouldn't be surprised if the customer service is outsourced as many do its a little sad really that it happens but its all down to cost and profit these days.

I have a great Sony DSLR, but I won't buy any more, because they switched to electronic viewfinders. Next time, I'll buy Nikon.

Hello John,

my experience with Sony customer service is poor.

I complained about unreliable internet function on a Sony Bravia television. I explained that I was finding the function unreliable and added at the end that I would never buy any Sony product again.

This brought a swift reply and a request for model number and serial number which I sent back. That was the end, no further replies?

This was not my first contact with them but I've had little satisfaction from 'Customer Services'

Not impressed.
