Morning

You are there for him - obviously love him and give him a great home, hope he's ok. Has he been vets or on any medication?

Yes he is on medication and it tends to keep the fits at bay poor lad is ok now but I think the fits cause him muscle pain as he now doesn't want to move

It must take it out of him when he's had a fit. How old is he?

just let him rest, animals are clever buggers when it comes to healing themselves. Just stay with him and he'll let you know what he needs

I had a Labrador at one time who suffered fits. Its so distressing to witness and I well remember the feeling of utter helplessness. Afterwards he would sleep soundly and I'd be wide awake watching him. He lived to a very ripe old age though and they lessened in frequency.... I never got used to it however......I feel for you...both.

Yep.

Cut their balls off and they're up and about a few hours later.

No bloke would be that tough!

Epilepsy in dogs isn't fun - but they often deal with it far better than humans.

Just give him a big hug when he's recovered.
