Have you ever met a mod!

I went to a bit of a mod gathering last week and although there were a few scooters there, the few I saw wearing Fred Perrys were a little young and looked a bit "plastic"

There were a few older guys there that could have owned the scooters but the all had quiffs and looked more like Rockers

It was all a bit confusing

Yes!! I used to go out with one years ago, he was bloody gorgeous.

A quiff is more rockerbilly ~ unless it's a modern take on the mod style.

My Uncle used to work for the Ministry Of Defence, but he never went to work on a Vespa nor wore a Parka with a roundel on the back as far as I'm aware

I've had about 10 Lambrettas in my time

NEVER a Vespa coz that would be soooo wrong

Now I ride a Harley and it's very similar I.e slow n doesn't turn

Used to be a mod....never a Rocker

Now I'm a mocker (tm) J Lennon

Brighton - even Hove!

Chatted to a guy in Brighton years ago as he looked exactly like Steve Marriott from The Small Faces. He was a mod.
