The land of grey peas and bacon

A picture emerges in today's metro paper of a 7 year old holding a person's head. The 7 year old is the son of Australia's most wanted criminal who is wanted on terrorist charges...is there really any hope for children where terrorist activity is rife? The picture really saddened me to see a 7 year hold another human beings decapatated head..

Oh I'm not saying that Australia terrorist activity is rife I meant countries such as Iraq etc.

there is always hope cheeky. What we are seeing now has always gone on throughout mankind's history in recent times people like us have been protected from it.

True, I don't normally read stories like this as it just depresses me but it stood out and saddened me at the same time but you are right it's been going on for many many years.

I'm not suggesting for a nano second that its right or acceptable though. I think we have to keep some sort of positive, hopeful flag flying if we can
