I usually (maybe wrongly) assume that it means they only meet at clubs or hotels.

They probably mean don't travel distance as in local only which isn't an option to choose oooh maybe I just had a good idea !!

I live in a room in a shared house with 4 other guys, so cannot accommodate.. (maybe someone lives with parents, a flatmate or has kids)

I don't have transport at the moment so cannot travel out of the area (but would make an exception to jump on a coach or train for someone who really catches my eye)

The box hasn't been ticked for a number of possible reasons. Laziness and doing it on purpose to avoid cropping up in searches but two. Its no different to how people fill profile blurbs in the best bet is to ask the individual for the specific reason.
