i bloody hate them!! 15 kilo luggage allowance how the hell am i meant to manage on that!!

was 20kilo last year!

and when i asked about payin extra was told the full party would need to pay it dirty robbinn theivin gits!!!!

iv been reduced to 4 pairs of shoes!!! bloody terrible!!! the damn thing been packed and unpacked about 20 times and im still no nearer being finished!!

it is a problem

especially when you think an empty suitcase weighs nearly 5 kg

one answer is to use one of those really thin nylon sports bags that weigh nowt , at least you then get your full 15 kg

or you can wear all the clothes your taking , but you will look like the angel of the north

Try flying with a 'low fare' - no flare famous airline, they're considering charging for use of the toilet whilst onboard! What next?

hey i never thought of one of those holdalls thats a great idea!!

if i wore all the stuff i want to take i would need four seats on the plane lol!!! or get arrested on suspicion of people smugglin! x

Last time i went to turkey i was allowed 20kgs and thought ...thats ok...

However....

When comming back through turkish airport i was informed the allowance was only 15kgs and so they charged me £80 for excess

They got everyone there and everyone was fuming.

On my return i went to travel agents and eventually made them coff up with it.

So watch ya step folks

MzN the holdalls hold a huge amount if you get the right one - I have packed a family of 4 in one holdall excluding the shoes

Which is more than I ever got in one of my suitcases, and always needed 2 of them even before my youngest was born.

Ohh and our holdall was a cheap one costing less than £20 and it has wheels to drag it along

Been using the holdall for yrs now it allows me to get my half kilo off luggage in and the mrs extra 14 kilos.

If you do fly ryanair its 10 kilo hand luggage allowance but beware as they are very strict when boarding both on the wieght and the size and it could cost you another £30 each way.

Oh and once everyone has the lightwieght cases and the sportsbags be ready for the allowance dropping to 10 kilos.

Mind you........

clothes are so bloody cheap in turkey you could get away with taking nothing and buy wot ya want and then chuck it the day ya come back
