I've got a job interview today at 11am for a promotion at work. I'm nervous as hell. Wish me luck everyone

Interview finished. Interviewed by two women so pulled out all the best subtle flirting I could muster and dazzled them with my answered (hopefully). Fingers crossed. Just need to wait til next week to find out now

Just found out I didn't get the job. I was appointable but was ranked 3 out of 12 people with only 2 jobs available. I'm a little disappointed but glad I was appointable

I interview quite frequently with colleagues.

We are well trained in detecting sexists.

The slightest hint of flirtation is unprofessional - you'd be dropped like a ton of bricks without you even knowingit.

Of course you were joking about the flirting - weren't you?

On the contrary, my uniquely minty friend...

If one of the top two change their mind, then going to someone who thinks they were fourth choice tells THEM that BOTH turned it down...and sets alarm bells ringing.
