"Has anyone actually driven an E-Type? I have, and they're horrible to drive. When you accelerate the front end lifts up and you lose about 50 feet of forward vision, the steering is ridiculously heavy at low speeds and the suspension is terrible. They look ok though." Nice tits!

" You're all wrong, the most beautiful car ever made is the Citroen DS (if you believe the critics anyway ) In my opinion, the Mercedes with the gullwing doors is a beautiful car, as is that new supercharged jag with the ducktail. Cobras are very nice though.

"The original Triumph Dolomite....Austin Healey, lightweight E type and the Aston Martin zagato.... Some of my favs... Oh and The original Lotus Elite and a TVR Griffiths 500.... I could go on for ages including a few Bentleys, pre war MGs, the original Land Rover and Range Rover...." Good call on the dolomite - Triumph made some beautiful looking cars (with crap engines, unfortunately). I was once the proud owner of a Herald Vitesse soft-top.

I have no probs with the GT 500 but it was more a showroom piece than a performance legend IMO.
