Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

The Brownies is one hundred today.

I loved being a Brownie and find myself singing the song just hearing the word.

Were you a Brownie, Cub, Woodcraft Folk and what are your fond memories? No naming people please.

I think my mum and dad sent me away with a hippy sect when I think back

Sleeping under the stars and in teepees was good fun,along with peforming sketches in the evening around the camp fire

Never went to anything like that, actually I'm not even sure there were any clubs locally. However, I was a member of Yr Urdd [the Welsh League of Youth] which all the school children were members of.

I think I would have enjoyed Woodcraft Folk but my parents would have thought it was a hippy sect.

I was in the Woodcraft Folk (unsurprisingly for those who know about my parents!)

I wanted to be a Brownie and a Guide though.
