I'm not seeing much of a groundswell of enthusiasm for Capaldi. I think he'll be interesting, but he doesn't seem to have caught the popular imagination yet.

I haven't watched r Who since Christopher Eccleston (phwooarr) but I think I'll give Peter Capaldi a go. He looks quirky enough for Dr Who without attracting 1000s of fangirls

He always looked like some happy chap who answered a dodgy advert in the local rag and somehow ended up with the best job in the world.

Exactly! Was so upset when David Tennant left I was adamant I wasn't going to like Matt Smith (like who the fuck is he!). Yet from Geronimo I loved him. Loved Christopher Eccleston as well (so dark!). What im trying to say is I'm a Dr Who Whore!

Peter Capaldi is an excellent choice and i will return to watching Dr. Who.

Youngsters with an age bias might object - other than that I don't see Peter having anything other than great success.
