Sainsbury's Columbian Coffee and Walnut Cake is lovely, around £2.56 but they are on 3 for 2 at the minute

Sainsbury's bakery counter danish pastry type things. I like the cinnamon rolls too but the amount of icing they put on was becoming ridiculous, it was thicker than the roll itself - don't know if that is a problem limited to my local store!

Tesco used to make a mile high blueberry pie. It had muffin sponge and fresh cream. Never tasted anything like it

M&S have the best cakes, we only shop there for food when we are doing something special as its bloody expensive but easily the best supermarket food.

I shouldn't say this as I earn my pennies making cakes... But I love Mr Kipling fondant fancies!! I've tried Betty's tea rooms, I've made my own... And none come close to mr kiplings!

I work for said supermarket and although everything should be uniform and followed to the book trust me no one does in our store the cream cakes contain 1/3 more cream and doughnuts have alot more jam or custard in then is written in the book and theres other things aswell
