Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Woman's Hour is discussing whether it's OK to wear the same outfit in the public eye.

Would you wear the same outfit for engagements?

I wonder how much this is to do with photos.

Not a problem for us fellas. Same suit for hatches, matches and dispatches. I'm sure its all to do with pics and the ridiculous fuss the tabloids and terrible celeb mags make.

Bradford

I have loads of cheap blue jeans and black t-shirts. So whilst it looks like I'm wearing the same clothes for days on end... I'm not

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

If I feel good in something I'll wear it again no worries.

This is of course making the assumption I can afford a different outfit for every time I go out....

They really do have an altered sense of reality these people

I actually think the public would have more respect for so called 'celebs' if they did wear outfits more than once, at least then we wouldn't feel like they were so blazae with their money.

Get this.... they could always donate the saved money to a good cause....yeah right

As im a regular type of person with an average wage then I have no problems wearing the same outfit more than once to different places with different people

Its would be ridiculously and needlessly extravagant of me not too

^^^^ this. My previous job meant I had more public engagements, meetings and dinners and I had no problems wearing an outfit more than once. I just changed accessories to make them look slightly different.

Titz Towers, North Notts

I rotate them, but do have favourites.

On the same programme, did anyone hear that professor talking about transgender issues? I missed her being introduced and thought she was just some ranter with an axe to grind, not a professional person.

I missed the end of her argument as the phone rang.

Something worn once by a celeb can and does raise money for charity. Victoria Beckham this week, for instance.

Yes! I think celebs should wear things more than once. The paparazzi can sod off.

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

Work, I have a selection of suits and dresses. Yes I wear them again and again, but different stockings, shoes and accessories make them look quite different.

Nights out, I have a stock of favourites, but again accessorise differently, but do love a new outfit too. My corsets are favourites, but are often teamed with different bottoms to change the look of them.

LONDON (se)

When I was younger and before I had kids I would never wear the same outfit to the same place. I would wear it to a different place with different people though.

I did have a lot more disposable income then though as I lived with my mum and my money was all my own
