She didn't even try that with me. "Yes daddy" was all she said lmfao I nearly feel sorry for her. What time are your kids up in the hols

I've been trying to crow-bar my 18 year old daughter out of bed since 10. She stays up til silly O clock playing some online game although to be fair, she does work nights part of the week and is waiting to go back to college so it's not a permanent state of affairs.

I try to cut her a bit of slack but I'm now getting hacked off and about to get a bit more 'insistent'!

It's a phase.

Read up on teenage sleep patterns. They actually NEED it.

My teenage daughter always asks to be woken at eleven. She's often up by then though.

My son however would sleep all day if he doesn't have anything to do.

Our 2 both get up at 6/6.30am. The latest they have ever slept is 7am. But they are quite young. I'm sure I'll be having to drag them both out of bed when they are teenagers!

On school days have to drag the 6 yrd out of bed. Tends to be a last minute rush.

All holiday she's been up at 6.45?!

I went through this phase myself, now my younger brother is its rare he's up before 10/11am. I just get the dog to jump on him, it usually works!

When I lived with my exhubby and his boys used to stay if they weren't up by 11 I used to let the dog in on them and slam all the doors
