I have someone who wants me to get Skype so we can chat on it (wave his cock around more like lol) and there has been a few posts about it but I couldn't find the one I was particularly looking for that gave the downside. So can anyone enlighten me on what is the for and what are the against reasons please

I only use it to keep in touch with friends and family in Poland and the States. For that reason it's perfect, just disable it from booting with your computer.

we use skype mainly for verifying ourselves as a couple but very occasionally skype to chat and cam with people we have been chatting to - we prefer to meet than cam and can chat here

I never really use it, largely because I only really turn my computer on to work nowadays and I'm not installing it on my phone because it takes up some much space and memory.

It's not the worst program in the world by any means but it isn't particularly useful when I already use things like whatsapp, kik, and snapchat.

I only use it for live chat on the desktop because I don't have a cam, but it has caused a lot of problems lately crashing windows. I don't like the phone version, prefer whatsapp, but it would be useful for free phone calls I guess, if you wanted to talk a lot.

Skype is great - phonecalls with no bill...whats not to like?

And you are giving out contact info. Many use Skype to keep in touch with a lot of people and if you have a shared computer you risk your child/parent/spouse answering a call only to see a cock being waved about.

Consider Kik on a smartphone. You don't give your number out and you can lock your phone.

What does that mean? The second line I meant, if its going to interfere or cause problems with my pc then I don't think I will bother

We like it as its a bit more grown up and works well for us but only use it for family. For meets whatsapp is better.

I'm all for Skype, but not for using a private / personal Skype name for activities - that can get horribly messy horribly fast.

Same reason people might have another phone for meets and such.

But as a tool, its absolutely fine, even if the file transfer rate is a bit crappy ; )

does customer support monitor skype so any frolic,s can be stopped

On cam ? was never sure about this.
