hiya all when searching i have found myself out of alot of peoples age range some by alot and others by a few months, would you let them few months pass and miss an oppotunity to meet up or do you make an exception and see what happens ??

We have an age range specified in our profile but that is by no means a hard and fast rule - it's a rough guide if you like.

If we chat with someone younger or older and we like them, we'll meet them regardless of age.

Fair play to those who stick rigidly to an age group, that's down to personal choice, but we prefer to be flexible - then again, we are the same in most aspects of our lives, so that's probably just us - 'go with the flow'

okay... now i have had my flippant answer i'll give a sensible answer.....

if i see an age range and i am not in it I tend to pass it by... because I don't know if people are being specific or being flexible...

and if they are being flexible to what latitude... be that 1 mth, 1 year, 2 years, 5 or 10 ect ect ect....... it is a tricky one....

I have an age rang, but rules are made for bending arnt they..

Some ppl can act young and then you get some old fuddy duddys

I have an age range which I tend to stick to.

However, I've on occasion played with younger: but they've been exceptional to me.

That said, as my lower age limit is 45 I don't understand why a 22 year old would message me. I wouldn't message someone who doesn't want to meet anyone over a size 12, so I really don't get those who challenge the personal prefeerences of others!

Especially when they've exercised their right to pick, choose and refuse!

Ive an age limit on mine yet i had a 19 yr old compose a very nice message, not the usual "do ya fancy sucking this" sort, so i was polite back in my response as opposed to telling them impolitely to read my profile lost count too of the number of youngsters that reckon they can change my mind with the "you know where i am!"

Ive a gentleman I chatted to on here just before xmas that was 59, a bit out of mine but is exactly the same and have to change the bed linen every time

To answer you directly - YES - I would make an exception. To make an exception the following has to happen:

1. I get a message from outside my age range. The message has something : interesting, unique , intelligent , poignant OR funny to say. Instead of deleting I look at the pic n profile.

The pic is of someone with good physique ( looking more man than boy ) and the face has an air of maturity.

The profile is well written and by that I don't mean would pass a grammar , spelling and punctuation test! ( Some on here think that's a measuring rod for sex worthiness. They make me cringe ) I mean they write something that oozes :- good sex, manners, humour , logic , originality and fun.

Then i'll ask for a phone number and do a two min chat. That usually sorts out pretenders who have pinched profiles.

Having said all that ........ I really DO think I couldn't meet with someone very young. Nature just doesn't speed up that many that much ...... some of those very young lads - tho I wish them every joy - are old enough to understand that to older women , they look and feel ...... like boys.

Gotcha there, had a lovely long well thought out message from a lad of 19, very impressed i was as it wasnt the usual "wanna suck on this?", had it not been for the fact that its not my thing and im 30 yrs older than him, i could have been tempted

As a couple with a distinct age difference we find that one or the other of us is outside the age ranges of most people/couples. The age range on our profile reflects our preferences for many reasons but is not a hard and fast rule. We can be very flexible for the right people/person.

If we treated an age range as a rule we'd never get any meets or be approached.

Just remember to read peoples profiles, mine says 30 and above, 29 being nearly 30 doesnt count, besides you are also way too far
