This weekend I went to go see Guardians of the Galaxy at the cinema. Was really great! Lot of fun, great soundtrack, funny and entertaining characters and cool action.

I'm a fan of Marvel films anyway but I really enjoyed this one.

Anyone else seen it or planning on seeing it?

I saw it just the other day, by far and away the funniest Marvel film yet. Even to the point where it feels more like a comedy than an action film at times which isn't exactly a bad thing! The cast is top notch and I'll agree that the soundtrack is brilliant. (Attaching it to the plot like they did is a nice touch too.) Stay 'til the end of credirs too if you can, the little clip is a piece of Marvel gold.

Then again as a Marvel geek I'd sing it's praises regardless!

Yeah, this weekend. I thought it was far better then the Avengers and just pips Cap' 2 as my favourite Marvel film.

It could have been improved with more screen time for Karen Gillan.

As a massive geek girl myself who is marrying an even bigger geek... We haven't, and we searched the net for ages looking before the film came out.

92% fresh vs whatever the shitty new transformers is getting lol C xx

seen it...... best film in the "marvel" universe since iron man.....

have to agree with everyone else about the soundtrack... all the "old" people in the cinema audience i was in with were all singing along... lol

If you are on spotify, type in 'Guardians of the galxay' and listen to the soundtrack. All the songs lyrics are very fitting. The films first song 10cc's 'I'm not in love' has the lyrics 'big boys don't cry. I'll be honest, I nearly did!
