A Secret Hideaway In the caravan of love

That your school days are the best days of your life, would you agree.

The best days of my life were shortly after I started work. I had money, few responsibilities and had a great time socialising.

My best years were when my children were young. When I think back to those years I feel happy. I have to block out thoughts of their dad though

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I loved school but I was also seriously fucked up then. I've had good and bad but concentrating on making every today the best. I'll reflect on which were the best when I'm ready to pop off this mortal coil.

Can't even remember much school to be fair. I was totally indifferent to education and I've learnt more since school than I ever did in those years.

Hated every single day of school due to being bullied the whole time and having dyslexia back in the 70s and 80's it was not seen as something that could be overcome instead I was stuck in the remedial classes with the people with severe learning difficulties licking and sticking and playing with fuzzy felt all day.

Needless to say I bunked off alot and left school early.

So no not happiest days of my life.

Him.

Collage however was awesome

The land of grey peas and bacon

No they were the most horrific days of my life...I was severely bullied at school for being fat, the only time I wasn't was when I was in year 11 and had an eating disorder and weighed about 7 stone....funnily enough I see on Facebook the girls that picked on me and karma must of waved it's wand as some of them are right fat fuckers now...

I have to agree my college days were fantastic and my mum pulled me out of school in year 10 due to the bullying it was during this time I developed an eating disorder and they couldn't believe it when I went back in year 11

i loved my childhood in general, school was ace, loads of friends, plenty of after school activities, family days out, hot summers and snow in winter (spent most of it in Germany), building bases in the woods, bike rides, long walks, going out at breakfast and only coming home for drink/food.. going and 'calling' on friends, the music..

London

School was a happy place, home was not. If I'm honest my life in general hasn't been bad.

Herts

HELL no! Racial bullying, gang attacks, regular fights as a result of having the ordacity to defend yourself and teachers being too terrified to intervene. - You couldn't pay me to go back to my school days.

The years in my first job working with horses were by far my favourite years. Didn't earn much but I loved what I did and life was simpler.

(him). Who ever said that school years are the best speak for themselves & definitely not for everyone. The best years of my life were at school in the 70s & early 80s being constantly bullied & beaten up for being one of the shortest & for having a French 1st name. Yeah right. Fuck school & duck the teachers that wouldn't listen. School can be one of the worst experiences in a child's life & I should know.
