Number of female messages

Just curious....

I read loads of times on ladies profiles that they have so much mail/messages to wade through.

Could someone give me an idea of how much mail/messages you women get in any said day.

Obviously, some will get more than others, but it would be interesting to see what numbers are being talked about.

The difference between: The Hunted v The Hunter.

On average about 10 a day.. like the other post if we go in chat a.lot more.and.can take all night to sift through along with the nunerous.winks and friend requests when in chat x

I think it has to be acknowledged that some on here have no interest in using filters and then like to complain about how much mail they recieve.

I had a single female profile for a while...I had no pictures up and no profile text., I still got winks and messages...out of curiosity I put up a meet today, I got 120 messages in an hour...couldn't count the winks, they filled up as quickly as I could delete them.

I have my messages filtered to the hilt. On average I would say 5 a day. Goes up a bit when I update status and a lot when I put meet today up. Ellie

My filters and having been around for yonks keeps my message numbers low at about 2-6 new ones a day. If I'm communicating with someone then that's different.

When I first joined 500 in an afternoon. Ridiculous! Before I set filters. Now between 20-30 a day.(mostly oneliners) Still don't reply if they havent read profile tho. I'm more than capable of doing the hunting and am more successful because I know what i want.

Depends. If you change your status or add a pic, it spikes. I've just come back yesterday after hiding my profile for almost a year and I've currently 48 unread messages. I've only read the ones that interested me. It's because I'm 'new'. I suspect that next week I'll have none!

as few as 7 or 8, as many as 50 odd depending what Ive said on forae, on my status or what pic I've posted. This is from previously uncontacted people, not my normal "traffic". Once I clear out all the F.A.F brigade, the numbers drop dramatically

After my latest photos went up I got a couple of hundred on some days.

Generally it depends how much I am online. If I am online only a little I get maybe 20 but if I'm online more, I get more because men see me in the 'now online' thingy and message.

If I am on late at night/in the early hours of the morning, I get loads.

i dont know why and i am certainly not big headed but i do get anywhere between 100-200 sometimes more a day, i dont have filters on, i dont use chat rooms. friday is usually the quietest day where sunday is always the day i get the most messages

I have my filters set and probably get 30-40 messages a day, if I add a photo then that goes up a lot. I have been here a few times and the first time I deleted my profile within an hour as I had over 100 messages in that time and that was without a pic or anything wrote on my profile

No, North Hampshire, where I was, was a lot closer to London and Birmingham than I am now, both of which are great for clubs.

Being more central meant more people were a reasonable distance away.

The nearest club to me now is 90 miles.

Before I set filters to stop messages from everyone I used to get an average of about 100 messages a day, most of them from single guys. Most of the messages had very little content and would just be mass deleted.

I don't often add new pics, have never used the meet section but did use chat a lot. I presume my use of chat lead to a lot of the messages I used to get.

If you dont have filters on your status update will show on the update for everyone who meets your 'Looking for' criteria so that might be one reason why

Its been said above...if women are new, or go into chat, or go on cam, or are logged on for a long time or especially late at night, post new pics, dont have filters sent, have 'Im gagging for it' profiles and statuses then they quite possibly do get so many messages.

Women who use their filters and have a more low key profile etc tend not to get quite as many messages.

It's not always about being bothered. If I leave my messages for a couple of days I can have 60-80messages. Most of them are probably going to be one liners so sometimes it's easier to just mass delete and start again

Great point....single guys do read profiles, as do women, couples, TVs etc. My point is also that if women boast that they have too much mail, they should at least have the courtesy to read them, and if not, at least acknowledge them. A blunt one line is SOOO much more preferable than no line!

Nobody is entitled to a reply. It is in the faq that no reply means they are not interested. I run my profile to please me. Nobody else! Even if you say 'thanks not intetested' you are opening up a line of communication thay some see as interest. Plus once you have answered the red warning that you have messaged before disappears so those that send the same message several times don't even get that to deter them.

Last time I put a meet today up I got 52 messages in 45 mins.

I usually get between 5 and 25 new contact messages a day and around f 15 to 20 winks

I have age, gender, newbies, no pics (think that's all) filtered...

I get on average about 20 mails a day, but don't complain about them... I either reply to them or delete them. It's really not difficult.

When I add new pics, display a new veri or post a meet this multiplies.

It depends on how active I am on the site. Tonight I have been on it abit so I've had 30+ messages from 6 separate F's or couples.

I don't know what I'd do if I got 100+ Separate messages in 1 day. ...probably punch the sky and start reading.

Average 30 on a normal day but if i update my status around 60. If i say im going on skype or upload a new pic probably 100 or more. Especially at the weekends. Any dick profile pics are immediately deleted.

ain't that the truth lol My age range is very narrow, I have most filters in place plus I live in a remote area so I get on average about 5 a day.

Yeah...I kind of have the same problem. For some reason I have requests from TVs and gay blokes on a frequent basis. The usual quip..."I know you want to..." or " Every guy tries it once". Aaaarrgghh!

If we add new photos then we tend to get a few more.

It varies massively depending on whether you've just added a status or new pics. I had a few photos in the most fabbed last week and got about 400 in a day. But if I haven't done anything new then probably 20-30.

Yup. When I first signed up I was unaware of filters and had over 300 messages. It was ridiculous as 99.9% were of no interest.

Once I carefully rewrote my profile and sorted filters it dropped to mostly single figures.

New pics, status or posting an ad boosts those numbers. But it's still manageable.

I get about 5 new people contact me a day. I usually get a new couple message me every other day and a message from a single lady once a week.

As everyone else says though; if I post some new pics the messages will jump to crazy levels.

Mine really vary. I've set my filters quite tightly and also block newbies I know I'm not going to want to meet. It saves both them and me time that way. However, regardless of the number of messages I receive per day, there's still not enough days in a week to meet the fellas I'd like to. I'm not complaining one bit though.
