Its all smooth! Ive given up now,I have sky buttons,virgin buttons and the remote for the actual tv

Its all smooth! Ive given up now,I have sky buttons,virgin buttons and the remote for the actual tv "

There may be a switch on the actual tv that you need to turn on first or maybe the tv is broken. There's a thread with more detail in my inbox if you fancy more help

The buttons on the telly are normaly behind the frame of the tv. try running your fingers around the edge of the screen

Otherwise look up the tv model on the internet, it will have an online manual somewhere

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I had a similar problem with my sister's yesterday. There was a little button at the back I had to press first and then start pressing the various remote buttons.

Press the power symbol. Mines the same on my TV there is no button as such but if you press the power symbol it turns on

You need some hippo tape, or as it is know in my house princess tape cos it's pink.. It will hold the oven door shuts, not much help with the TV though,,
