...that I only seem to get offers when I'm ill? lol

To cut a long story short, I'm currently dealing with ulcers under my skin after a glandular infection. It doesn't look good and I don't want to put people off but it's not something I can lie about.

I've heard of people turned down for much lesser reasons, so I'm just waiting for it all to clear up. I hope people don't think I'm being funny with them!

Telling them you are ill and unable to meet for a few weeks/months isn't being funny with people.

I know how you feel. We've had to cancel more than once due to illness. Usually just a cold, but still no-one want's someone dribbling snot all other them.

Its called Sods Law...

If people think you are being funny and get stroppy with you, they are probably not the sort you would want to meet anyway.
