Browsing the antiperspirants yesterday I was suprised how many offer 48 hours protection. Do people wash less now, or buy these as they assume that if they last so long then they must be better for the first day than shorter acting products? I did buy one, that also swears it wont mark my clothes, but am not out for an endurance test to try its effectiveness. Is cleanliness on the decline, alongside our godliness I wonder.

I wonder if people are applying the product less? You're supposed to use the block ones last thing at night and I think it says showering will not affect protection? I use mine before dancing, and they are definitely more effective.

Walking around our town on a hot day leads me to believe that some people don't wash at all

I think the 48 hr protection claim on deoderant is more about making it sound amazing rather than you don't need to wash for 48 hrs once you've applied it

In the same way that women wearing bodyform can't automatically sky dive,horse ride or rollerskate........bastards!
