I was on my way to the forum when I saw a funny sight. It was this dog walking up the road with a paper in his mouth. Every junction he came to he sat down, looked both ways and then crossed. When he reached his owner's house he padded up the path and tapped the doorbell with his paw. I said to the chap who answered it how bright his dog was. Do you know what he said back? 'Not that clever, lass - this is the 3rd time this week he's forgotten his key.'
