men shaving arm pits

I have a question I was chatting to a mate about the stench of BO on the underground now I admit after a hard days graft unless you shower before you leave work you always carry an odour even if you top up with deodorant. My mate said he shaves his arm pits and although he still sweats he does not smell.

Does any one else do this or what is peoples view on this?

Just reapply deodorant? I like a mans natural smell and love mens armpit hair. Also I thought hair was meant to be better for sweaty armpits?

Even if I do reapply by the time I have spent an hour or so on a hot sweaty underground train I still get odour and I can say if you had your noes quite close you would be able to smell it

Hair does tend to hold smell more so would make sense that shaven would not smell as much?

I do it in the height of summer just to stop me smelling of BO.

I don't like to see a man with shaven armpits I do like a masculine looking guy. It wouldn't do for us all to llike the same thing though.
