okay... talking to my sis about how to keep my niece entertained thru the summer hols... and got to talking about old movies kids would like

she suggested ET....which I don't think really stands up well...

I suggested princess bride... which I still believe is a classic...

any others??

I did say the original "willy wonker and the chocolate factory".... she is going to start her off the "the wizard of oz" as an experiment....

Willow is an awesome movie! Just showed mines this and they loved it lol I hadnt seen it in over 13 yrs so it was like new for me.

Robin Hood Men in Tights is another good one. And Batteries Not Included, I think thats what its called anyways.

Can I throw in Time Bandits and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen too? Or some Ray Harryhausen - I loved Clash of the Titans as a kid and still do.
