Anyone old school using newsgroups and usenet? Since I'm not a fan of torrents and there's a million and one cyber lockers these days, I might give it a try.

To download Linux Distros of course

Newsgroups are good if they have good retention but you just can't beat multiple file downloading sites like Simply-Debrid

I used them for a bit, but RG was always changing their rules and being generally annoying.

Yeah Rapidgator is a bit hit and miss with the downloads but there is always plenty of alternatives. I used to pay for Rapidshare until they went all 'legal' but now I can access over 30 file hosters and it's cheaper than just the one
