Do you ever walk into a room and forgot why the hell you went in there?

I just stood at my bathroom door for about 20 seconds wondering why I was staring into the darkness of my bathroom.

I just needed some tissue.

Try walking upstairs 3 or 4 times, getting to the top and forgetting why you went up only to remember once you get to the bottom

Once I bought some deodorant. I couldn't find it for bloody hours.

It was in my fridge.

Even worse when you go to the shop for coffee and come out with a frozen chicken instead

I do it quite often. Come downstairs in the morning before work, forget something I've left upstairs then when I get there, forget what it was!

Titz Towers, North Notts

I like to relocate objects when I'm round people's houses, just to confuse them. My aged folks are now wise to this and if their remote control turns up in the fridge they don't have an enquiry into which one has flipped their lid, but just send me a text.

Not quite as bad as walking round to the shop and forgetting what you went for... Then walking home again.

Sounds to me like you're menopausal. Have you considered HRT?

I think this is quite normal.

Anyone who doesn't do this is of questionable character and yes, saying that does make me feel better about myself

I often find myself having a telephone conversation and frantically searching for my phone. Yes. The same mobile phone I'm talking on
