Meeting in clubs

For those people that go to swingers clubs... do you get chatting to someone on here and arrange to meet at a club? Or do you just go to the club and see who you fancy and have a chat with when you get there?

Usually the second. Never actually arranged to meet a home in a club apart from socials

Both. I don't meet single guys 1 on 1 as so many get nerves. Instead I tell them I'll be going to a club and it's up to them if they want to go. I expect there will be plenty of people there to have fun with, whether they turn up or not

A bit of both but it is a good opportunity to meet up with people if they are going to be there.

Both. As we very rarely get to clubs I use it as a good opportunity to meet those I would struggle to meet 1 on 1. But also go on the look out for fresh prey too ....I mean make new acquaintances

I was interested because we sometimes go with no plans, just to see who's in. But often people already seem to be in groups and not open to meeting anyone new.

I can't argue with you there but you also get people sat around on their own a little introverted same as some groups. There is never an ideal I guess but it is nice to meet up with people in clubs if possible that's why we do it.

I only pre arrange because we get out so infrequently that I like to make sure I've at least got a chance of playing when we do

Sometimes arrange to meet them in there but NEVER arrange to go in with a random as a couple. My idea of hell to be stuck with someone I had no intention of playing with. Also people would see you as a couple. I would have no control over his behaviour and if it was bad wouldn't want it to reflect on me. Sometimes go just to see who's there.

Arrange to meet them at a pub first? I agree the first time is scary. Do you research on the club- what the dress code is, have a look at the pics of the club so you get an idea of the room layout etc. It should help your nerves. Good luck.

We had this discussion last night, we went to a club last night and always find ourselves a bit reserved or shy, we just can't seem to just go up to people we like, and there normally snapped up pretty quick by the more experienced couples who know how to pounce lol,

So for us our best option is to arrange to meet someone there otherwise we just end up mooching round looking like losers lol

Thankyou for your advice, i am hoping to go to a couple of socials in the near future and hopefully meet a few people there that will look after me

I totally agree. I will meet people there but not go in with them.

We've been to a club twice and done both. The first time we met for a social before we went to the club. We met four other couples and it was really nice to be part of a group. That night we didn't 'play' though. The second time we went just as a couple and found it a bit more socially awkward and had light play with some others. Both had there advantages!!

I'm thinking of heading to a club for the first time with a friend for support so I think I'll just see how it goes and if there's someone I fancy playing with (and vice versa) then that's a bonus. If not, I've got a friend to play with.
