Met a couple - the pics they'd sent were very old - bore very little relation to how they look now - should have walked away but to be fair they were good company just wish they'd been honest. This seems to happen to us pretty often - we should skype every time we decide to meet - what experiences of this have you had? Z

Mine are updated regularly because of this, seen so much trouble from not doing so.

Can be looked at as deceit.

Yes it is, the irony is that whilst we were chatting they kept going on about peeps with old and misleading pictures! Z

yes seen this before, they get to the meet then its opps, I updated my face pics last week.

I've met a few who looked much older than their actual ages but I can't beat the experience a man I met at the weekend had when he went to meet a woman in a pub who didn't resemble the photos on her profile because they weren't actually her

I like to have photo evidence of men I'm meeting in case they turn out to be women hating serial killers. If they look nothing like the pic I have then how will they be caught?

I tend to _iew pics as a guide as some people, myself included, are not photogenic. Even photogenic people can have dead eyes, bad auras etc so I always have a social meet.

Old, misleading pics are not on though, don't see the point.

You could do it by private message rather than invite people to discuss them publicly. Imagine how people might feel about a social meet with you now

I just think a private messaging saying it was lovely to meet them and you enjoyed their company just a bit of friendly advice here but maybe you need to take some new pictures as the ones you have are slightly outdated then maybe give them some tips on types of photos, help them out a bit instead of slagging them off on a public forum....discretion goes along way...

If honest it appears a little cowardly doing it this way if you had expressed your _iews fully and firmly directly to them face to face it would have given them their chance to reply and been far more effective of getting the message across.
