I had a keyhole op on my knee, about two weeks now still got my stiches in. But am I ok to have a shower with the stiches in place. Doctors naughty nurses help xxx

I'm surprised the stitches are still in tbh.

Yes you can wash then but they are usually took out after about 10 days i would make an appointment with the nurse at your GP to have them removed it will have heeled by now

I got told to leave the stiches in for two weeks. And also got a big brace thing on my knee lol

i had the same op last year and had the stitches 2 weeks. Mine were the sticky ones not the thread ones.

They should be coming out after 2 weeks. I had a dressing on over both sets.

You need to get back to the docs to have them out/off

Not on my knee but when I had my stitches I just took them out myself
