"Be careful with sit ups - they can put a lot of pressure on your back and neck. Bridges also work the tummy well, where you lie on your back, feet shoulder width apart on the floor, and push your bottom up to make a bridge, tuck your shoulders under (like you are squeezing an imaginary ball between your shoulder blades) and then gently pulse up and down (it looks very silly and vaguely "hump-ing" but tones tummy well) If you can afford it, a session with a personal trainer or some advice from your local gym is excellent. (I'm currently training to be a p/t) " wow, well done on your weight loss and I totally agree with what your saying. I go to a personal trainer and love it, I get good advise about fitness and nutrition and feel motivated enough to go to the gym in between sessions. Personal trainers are expensive, however worth it in the long run x

"As I am kinda in the same boat a I used to be very big a while ago, I think you'll find none of the above will work, the reason? Excess skin, it's stretched too far from when you was big so it will never be as flat as you want it without a little surgery, I'm very active physically, doing 28 miles a day cycling, the insanity workout and martial arts training, everywhere on my body is toned except my stomach " Some people are fortunate and it does pull in a bit - it does depend on size, stretch and genetics. I've gone from a 24/26 down to a 10/12, and don't have a perfect flat tummy, but don't have that much of an "apron" just still a wee rounded tummy. Body brushing and moisturising can help, and it will never be perfect.
