Close to A55 in our own bubble

Our 1st grandchild is due. But there is no sign yet.

This got me thinking. (We have 5 children) when my mum had me, I was over due. (All 5 of our children arrived late )when she had my sister she had her early (my sister has 2 children and both came early).

So is this just a coincidence or is there more to it ..

what's your experience with this....

Anyway this soon to be nanny is getting very excited and cant wait to meet our new little man.

The best bit is my sister became a nan before me lol.. (and I know that make me a great aunty but I'm cool with that )

Congratulations on the impending birth

I'm currently waiting for the arrival of my 10th grandchild - it's an exciting time.

I'm not sure on the overdue thing - there are so many grandkiddies I've sort of lost track lol

1st grandchild is from our son..we have made sure our daughter doesn't go down that route yet. Took her for the implant (we dont have enough room for a baby at home too lol) shes 18 this year ..

Exciting times but just wished they could enjoy their own company for a bit but he's a miracle baby. (She was told she couldn't have any. And as you can probably imagine our soon is over the moon as , in his words"he has super sperm" lol)

haha my mum has 10 and this will be her 2nd great grandchild.

That must be a very expensive time at Christmas lol

I just thought if all 5 of ours has 3 children each .... oh my doesn't bear thinking of ... old mother Hubbard springs to mind lol

Well I got a phone call early hours to say that he's finally arrived.

mop of dark hair ( not suprised with the amount of heart burn she'd been having) weighing a lovely 7lb 4ozs

Cant go and see them yet as mum has to stay on delivery suit for 24hrs as she had pre eclampsia so needs some meds through iv and has to be monitored every 15 minutes but midwife needs to stay with her for the time period due to the toxic nature of the drugs she's being given.

They are in the best place and mum will at least be getting some well earned rest whilst she's in there. ..

Aw congratulations!!

I'm so jealous. Can't wait to be a Glam ma. Though I fear I will be waiting a while with my two boys. One is off to Uni soon anyway, the other reckons he's too busy for girls
