Trailer is released later today? On the today show?

I thought the books were mediocre much preferred the crossfire series. Will still watch the film but obviously it's not going to be like the books as it will be rated 15.

If I was a guy I would turn up at the cinema in a smart suit and tie to watch the film on your own. There is bound to be plenty of women eyeing you up.

I read all 3 to see what the fuss what about, I don't know much about BDSM which I know is the reason they get slated so much on here but in general they were terribly written x

never read the books but purely because of the sucess of the books and all the hype i will no doubt end up seeing the film

probs wait for the dvd release as watching that kinda film in public id end up feelin a lil embarrassed for some reason

I've read the books and will be going to see the film. It's fan fiction, it was based on the twilight books/films and it started out as a racier version of that. I quite liked em, but I like a good love story with a happy ending. As for the kinky fuckery......it did what it needed to do and caused the world wide phenomenon. They are easy holiday reading and you don't need to engage your brain to read em.

I'm interested in how it translates to a film......

I might give the Sylvia Day ones a go then. I probably won't read 50 Shades because I know the plot from what people have told me

I've only read the first book thus far. I found it quite tame and poorly written, although did keep my interest to see what happens. I suspect the film maybe the same to get pass the censors and I doubt James will be the script writer, but only to be consulted.
