With another super matteress under so thats 4 for me.

It depends how big the people are really but I wouldn't want more that four men in mine and they wouldn't be allowed to sleep.

I just have a standard double bed as there is only me so don't need a huge bed, so it sleeps two its never had two in it though unless you count my dogs then three
