I've learnt a lesson today, when it comes to getting tickets for things. Book ruddy early.

The other week I noticed that Henning Wehn is on tour and in Nottingham. This is bucket list territory for me, as he does a lot of work in London and Scotland, but not here. I've spent a few days talking to friends, asking family and I got a party together for it.

Today I went to do a block booking and although there are about 7-8 seats left, they are all over the shop, so I've had to cancel the party and let everyone know.

HOWEVER, if for someone who doesn't mind sitting with strangers, there was a solitary seat going begging on the front row...

Drab mode sadly.

I can pass well enough as long as I avoid prolonged exposure in good light, neither of which would apply there, hence the drab mode.

And it is now official. I've been told I'm a chump for not booking last week by an irate parent who was looking forwards to going.
