i just hate the 30 second musical break (where the girls parents go to sea and die).. i just sit there twiddling my thumbs being a numpty for ages .. before singing 'Elsa? i know your in there,, people are asking where youve been....'

They should make an edited version

Defying Gravity is the only good song in Wicked. I didn't enjoy it that much.

That's good then. I prefer the Wizard of Oz.

A little time by The Beautiful South. No offspring to complain about my singing and the pets don't care as long as I feed them.

Titz Towers, North Notts

I've got the theme to The Phil Silver's show stuck in my head following watching a couple of episodes on youtube earlier.

Gee thanks C&S... Had Eloise by the damned playing in my helmet as I cleared town and hit the open road earlier, then it kept going all the way through the hospital time was driving me mad before the ride home and finally stopped about an hour ago..... Then I opened this thread and its back! Anyone got an ear worm killer handy?

Xx

Every night I’m there

I’m always there, she knows I’m there

and heaven knows

I hope she goes

I find it hard

to realize that love was in her eyes

it's dying now

she knows I’m crying now

and every night I’m there

I break my heart to please

Eloise, Eloise

you know I’m on my knees yeah

I said please

you're all I want, so hear my prayer

my prayer

my Eloise is like the stars that please the night

sponsored links

the sun that makes the day

that lights the way

and when that star goes by

I hold it in my hands and cry

her love was mine

you know my sun will shine

and every night I’m there

I break my heart to please

Eloise, Eloise

you're all I want you gotta hear my prayer

my prayer

my Eloisa

I love to please her

I’d like to care

but she's not there

and when I find you

I’d be so kind

you'd want to stay

I know you'd stay

and as the days grow old

the nights grow cold

I wanna hold her near to me

you know she's dear to me

and only time will tell

and take away this lonely hell

I’m on my knees

to my Eloise

and every night I’m there

I break my heart to please

Eloise, my Eloise

you are my life so hear my prayer

you are the prize

I know you're there, I know you're there

you're all I want you gotta hear my prayer

yeah yeah yeah

you're all I need

but you're not there

oh no you're not there

no no no no

yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

my Eloisa, oh I gotta please her

my Eloisa

my Eloisa

oh my Eloisa, come back to me

my Eloisa

Have you tried listening to both Barry Ryan and The Damned versions.

That may/should clear your head of The Damned.

Just tried it... nope... something about the orchestration, coupled with the opening of the throttle and the feel of the warm air rushing past me melded together to lock the damned version in my head, my ear worms are complete with every note played and sometimes very welcome... but only for so many hours...

Lucky you, their voices are mesmerising.

The other members have also formed a group called The South, can't get tickets to see them either.
