My son wants a pet spider, however, the pet shop is charging about £80 for one... would I be better just getting one off the web?

Depends on how old he is when mine were younger we had african land snails from local play group.

£80 for a spider!!! may aswell get him a daddy longlegs for £40 aswell while ur at it
