"I don't have an absolute favourite but if I was pushed I'd have to say minestrone with butternut squash a close second. The only one I really don't like is tomato but I will eat it if its homemade and I'm hungry...not that I am at all fussy...oh no not me " butternut squash and apple is my favourite homemade. "Many years ago I used to nanny at a pub called the Stilton cheese. Stilton was their speciality and they had Stilton and cider soup that was bloody amazing really thick with great chunks of cider. I lived on it. Never found a recipe similar to it though OMG..... that sounds lush.... " it was and laiden with calories I can still taste it now | |||

"I love soup , I only ever make my own x always vegi based x I won't buy soup they all have over 1 gram of salt per 100 grams which is too high for regular consumption x" now your making me feel guilty, its only recently I've started buying it so I've got all varieties to hand. "I like pretty much any soup, Mulligatawny is ace and the Hairy Bikers did a recipe which I have yet to attempt. Scotch Broth is another of ma faves along with Lobster Bisque and good old Tomato " mulligatawny is my second favourite tinned | |||
