I think there are 8 altogether , 5 in the original serious , then the Tim Burton one and then the last two !

I've seen them all and I think Rise of TPOTA is the best one.

I enjoyed Dawn but it wasn't as good.

Beneath the planet of the apes is possibly the worst film I have ever seen.

Have only seen the most recent offering in its entirety, could never get into any of the others down the years.

The 2nd one underneath the planet of the apes is underrated ! Lynda Harrison is in it and also Charlton Heston but not as much ! For some reason on the original five movies they cut the budget each time

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

First one. The Tim Burton one is awful.

Shropshire/Midlands

Has to be the first two of the original series.

Then there's the TV series that I can just remember...

The original and the series.

It's a shame somebody put a spoiler up about how the original ends for anyone who hasn't seen it

"First one ...with the last scene showing Statue of Liberty buried in the sand"

That image made the film iconic, despite the dodgy costumes special effects and acting styles of the day it stands out on concept alone.
