Also sunflowers, and red, pink and yellow rose bushes in the garden.

"someone i met on here bought me white roses. i dont normaly like them because they dont last very long, but these were lovely and they lasted for ages.

nastursiums are usually orange,or red

some pink and yellow good at self setting

their down fall is the cabbage white

butterflies lay their eggs on their leaves if not monitored their caterpillars would soon finish them off

the large white butterflie have been out in force this week I,ll have to check

out the leaves soon.

Not a fan of getting flowers. Flowers remind me of cemeteries and loved ones lost.

Growing wild though... Poppies.

Their usually easy to grow from

seed thou will probabily revert back to

more a purple in colour a few years back we had some viola,s the flowers were only

about one inch long almost black in colour mid night purple similar colour

you would see in a dark velvet jacket

with a tiny egg yolk centre they seeded

well and took no room up but these did

keep their original colour strangely enough....

Wwell these were a bargain from Tesco`s reduced shelf at 19 pence a tray, unlabelled and looking a bit sick because they were getting dryed out. I threw them intomy water butt for a day and planted them out when I could. As you say, they will revert as most modern plants will do as it`s the way they`re raised. One of the favourites for doing this are some verigated varieties like ELEAGNUS.
