Agreed, and I never thought I'd hear those words coming from someone from Yorkshire!

Think a Sunday club team could play better than some of the England team at the moment!

He's no Darren gaugh but when he's playing for England you have to forgive is origins

Plus the Yorkshire boys are doing the business at the minute

Time for Jimmy to do what he is good at.

What do we do with cook tho, statistically one of our best batsmen ever. Take captaincy off him but who else takes over.

Drop him or just let him ride it out

Ballance? Controlled, calm

Root? Youthful, talented, like a lil Yorkshire terrier

Prior, solid, team player, respected

Can't be jimmy or Broad, getting on a bit now to be captain

The general feel is bell is the best replacement for cook, very tactically aware and liked in the team, you can see in cook the pressure is weighing him down

Personally I'd go for youth, look at what Graeme Smith did for SA, took a good team and made them great

Not a lot to do with smith though I don't think, all to do with the way south Africas youth programme works, that was the main reason pietersen left because he couldn't get a look in
